Painfully aware, it appears.

Apart from perusing YouTube's indelible, LQ stock of music videos and listening to monochromatic albums and unrecorded brilliance-- there's this:

Everyone LOVES Steven Gerrard. Srsly. Even you can't deny it.

Where is that damned article about Rooney wanting Gerrard for his birthday?

=Does god exist?
I'm far too provincial to answer that question.

^why steven is the best name ever.^

"He wasn't complicated, yet he still left you panting on the bed panting because it was so real and truthful."
That's love. And I concur.

Yeah, what other reason could he possibly have for wanting to join Arsenal?

Oh. Oh yeah. The football. Oh, right. Sure.

katdlc admits that manu needs him for the slash factor. because ronaldo's an idiot when he speaks in english. i'm sure torres isn't any better though, but he'd still be a slashy acquisition.

Risa, to be truthful, your one club veneration policy scares me sometimes.

Suffice to say, I actually do like Liverpool. A lot.
Is indecision that bad?

I didn't really follow the one club policy last year, but my brother convinced me that it's a lot easier. And it really is.

Especially when they're in the same league.

I've contented myself to a club per league, which makes it easier. But then the dilemma that the Champions League presents us with is more than enough to make you want to tear your hair out. Case in point, Champions League Final 2005.

I sort of struggled with Liverpool and Arsenal last year. Trying to balance them out.

Apart from my misery that Arsenal lost (or was it that Barca had won?), Liverpool winning the FA Cup more than made up for it. Especially that brilliant match against Luton Town, which, probably, was when the total adulation was realized.

I used to say that I'd be happy with either result, if the two sides ever went head-to-head.

But it wasn't the case.

Indecision isn't exactly bad. It's just more difficult. I guess it prevents excess fanaticism, and I suppose it leaves you more options, but it's impossible to allocate your devotion evenly among clubs.

I'll always prefer Liverpool to Arsenal, or any other club for that matter. But when my interests don't conflict with each other, then I'll be happy to support them from time to time. But Liverpool will remain constant.

Having said that - you are to give me three plausible reasons why it's absolutely impossible to start a conversation with you in school. I mean I can do it with Sam Wong and, um, various other freshmen.

Because I'm socially awkward. And my conversation skills are terrible with people who I don't spend periods of mind-numbing periods of brainwashing with.

See, all this proper grammar and pretentious tone is a front. And I couldn't bear to part with it.

Is that three? Or. More?

Well I'm a social pariah and yet I can manage to be loud and obnoxious in public.

You should just tote around a laptop and pretend you're mute or something. (I just found the speech button in mine!)

And hey at least, thank god, you didn't go with the whole 'we're a batch apart' terminology.

However, foaming at the mouth and repetitive proclamations of "no wai" and "o rly" don't make for good conversation.

And I can't tote around my laptop because it's an archaic piece of shit that I love very dearly.
